Collective Invention helps leaders of innovation create, articulate and implement visionary futures. Our work integrates relevant research, design thinking, and collective wisdom. We believe that the most creative solutions emerge in the areas where different disciplines or fields of interest overlap—particularly in public-private partnerships. It’s there that design thinking can best create and bring to life the future we want.

Collective Invention itself is a multi-disciplinary team that leverages insights from anthropology, architecture, design, performing arts, media, and business. Based in San Francisco, we work locally and internationally for both -profit and nonprofit organizations, including philanthropies, NGOS, corporations, and government agencies.

We focus much of our work on social innovation in education, health-care, climate change, and food and water. We also help companies create more socially responsible business practices. We help all of our clients work in a spirit of enlightened mutual interest.
